Welcome to KALEXION Rent a Car. Please read these terms carefully before renting a vehicle in Cyprus. By booking or using our service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Kalexion Rent Cars Terms And Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before renting a vehicle from KALEXION RENT A CAR LTD. By booking and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who Can Rent

  • Drivers must be 25–75 years old.
  • Drivers aged 21–24 may rent with an additional young driver fee.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
  • International drivers may require an International Driving Permit (IDP).
  • Only listed drivers are allowed to drive the rental vehicle.

2. Vehicle Use

  • Drive only within the Republic of Cyprus. Driving in Northern Cyprus is strictly prohibited.

  • No racing, off-roading, towing, or illegal activities.

  • Follow all Cyprus traffic laws.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Payment must be made before or at vehicle pickup.

  • A security deposit (card or cash) is required.

  • Extra fees may apply for late returns, fines, or damages.

4. Insurance

  • Basic insurance is included. Additional coverage (CDW/SCDW) can reduce your liability.

  • Renter is responsible for damages caused by reckless or negligent driving.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a full tank. Return full to avoid refueling fees.

6. Vehicle Condition

  • Return the vehicle in the same condition (normal wear and tear excepted).

  • Smoking is not allowed. Cleaning fees apply for violations.

7. Accidents & Assistance

  • Contact us immediately for breakdowns or accidents:

  • Unauthorized repairs are not reimbursed.

  • Follow police reporting procedures for accidents.

8. Optional Extras

  • Vehicles are equipped with GPS for safety and compliance.

  • Tampering with GPS is prohibited and may lead to penalties.

9. GPS & Monitoring

  • Child seats, additional drivers, or other accessories are available for extra fees.

  • Renters are responsible for the care of all extras.

10. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancel more than 72 hours before rental: full refund (minus transaction fees).

  • Cancel 24–72 hours before rental: 50% refund.

  • Cancel less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund.

11. Liability & Rules

  • Renter is responsible for fines, damages, and breaches of these terms.

  • The Company can terminate the rental for rule violations.

12. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus.
